The architecture of the daily ritual

The Challenge: To modernize a domestic space through a low-impact renovation that harmonizes new architectural surfaces with curated vintage elements.

The Execution: My strategy centered on the tension between the “new” and the “found.” I selected bold, rhythmic floor tiles to provide a fresh architectural anchor, then balanced this with my own site-specific murals. These intervetions redrew the apartment’s geography into a series of monochromatic rhythms, providing a sophisticated backdrop for the revamped retro furniture.
